          Sue Upton (born 9 November 1954 at Chadwell Heath, Essex[1][2]) is an Englishcomicactress and dancer, best known for her many appearances on The Benny Hill Show.

          She was one of the longest-serving cast members of Benny Hill's stock company, appearing on the show from 1977 to his final programme for Thames Television in 1989. Upton also appeared in Benny Hill's World Tour: New York, in 1991.[3]

          Education and early career

          Upton attended stage school in addition to her regular education.

          Despite qualifying at the age of 16 as a teacher of dancing, she decided that a performing career would be more to her liking.[2]

          After graduation, Upton embarked on a career as a dancer and cabaret singer; she also worked as a model, continuing with this work until she was well into her twenties.[2] She was a member of Love Machine, a female dance troupe.
