Neuschwanstein Castle (German: Schloss Neuschwanstein, pronounced[ˈʃlɔsnɔʏˈʃvaːnʃtaɪn]; Southern Bavarian: Schloss Neischwanstoa) is a 19th-century historicist palace on a rugged hill of the foothills of the Alps in the very south of Germany.
